The Story Behind Rez Swag

Rez Swag was born out of pride, passion, and a deep connection to culture and creativity.

I grew up on the Morongo Indian Reservation—born and raised. My childhood was shaped by the land and the people. I spent my days out in the canyon, hunting and exploring, and my afternoons on the weathered basketball court in the neighborhood park. We had one hoop, and a whole lot of heart. That court, that canyon, and that community shaped who I am.

I’ve always been someone who liked to build things—design, create, improve. That spirit naturally evolved into Rez Swag. It started with a few ideas, a love for art and streetwear, and a desire to express our culture in ways that felt real and proud. Every design reflects a story, a symbol, or a piece of our heritage.

While I started out studying business, life took me into the tech world. I dove into IT, finished my degree, and brought that knowledge back to the table to strengthen the foundation of Rez Swag. My cousin Tara came on board not long ago, and together we’re turning Rez Swag into more than just a clothing line—it’s a platform for Indigenous creativity, a voice for modern Native pride, and a statement of resilience.

Rez Swag represents our stories—past, present, and future. It’s where tradition meets hustle, where roots run deep and the vision looks forward.
